About The Placement Journal

The Placement Journal covers the working machinery of UK work placements: the schemes, the rules, the recruitment calendars and the checks that separate a serious placement from a sales pitch. We write for students, career changers, parents and the professionals who host and arrange placements.

What we publish

Our briefings are factual explainers grounded in official and professional sources such as GOV.UK, the Health and Safety Executive, UCAS, professional bodies and sector organisations. We link to the sources we rely on so readers can verify them directly.

What we are not

We are not a regulator, a review platform, a law firm or a careers advisory service. Our material is general information and cannot replace advice about individual legal, financial, immigration or career circumstances.
